Campinil is separated from Hidden Valley to the north by a steep, undeveloped hillside. It is just west of the Mesa neighborhood and just east of the Hope Ranch neighborhood. Homes south of Cliff Drive can boast impressive ocean bluff views, and the area affords generally larger tracts of land than other beachside areas of Santa Barbara.
